Multi RecyclageAre some articles considered hazardous? What materials are unacceptable at sorting centres or landfills?
The following materials are NOT considered acceptable : Domestic waste, Tires, Propane tanks, Branches and trunks, Mattresses, Toxic products, Contaminated soil, Paint and solvent, Gas and oil, Freon and neon.
How do I dispose of hazardous waste?
You’ll find a lot of information about waste disposal on the Recyc-Quebec web site. You can also ask your municipality. There are Ecocentres available to receive any waste you may have that was refused during regular garbage collection in your area.
What are your business hours?
You may contact our customer service department from Monday to Friday, 5 am to 11 pm, and Saturday from 8 am to 4 pm. Our dumpster delivery and collection service runs from Monday to Saturday.
What methods of payment do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), as well as debit (Interac).
You say that you recycle almost everything. What do you mean??
The vast majority of materials that we collect are recycled: paper, metal, wood, plastic and many others. We strongly believe in the importance of recycling, and we use the most up-to-date recycling processes. Unfortunately certain products can not be recycled; we dispose of these in the best ways possible with total respect for the environment.
How long in advance of a project shoudl I call Multi-Recyclage?
We suggest that you call us at least 24 hours in advance. We will do our best to accommodate you as quickly as possible.
What happens if the driver doesn't have access to the site when he comes to deposit or collect the container?
Transportation fees of $125 per visit are applicable when the driver is unable to deposit or collect the dumpster.
Does someone have to be there when Multi-Recyclage comes to deposit the container?
To ensure that the dumpster is placed right where you want it, it is best to have someone on location when the dumpster arrives.
Will I be billed for extra weight?
Additional fees are applicable if the weight surpasses the amount in your agreement.
Can I modify or cancel an order?
You can modify or cancel your order, either on-line or by telephone. Any changes to an order must be made one business day before delivery.
What happens if I need a bigger dumpster?
To find out what size dumpster you will need, consult the service section of our web site. If the dumpster you have rented is full and your project is not finished, please contact us. We will assist you by offering other options.
Is it OK to place a dumpster on a public road?
You might need a permit to do so. We suggest that you find out from your municipality. Acquiring a permit is entirely your responsibility.
