Montreal dry waste depot

Recovery, recycling and reusing dry material is at the heart of our concerns and guides the vocation of our business. Recovering and sorting dry waste materials prevents a large volume of it from ending up in landfill sites.

Most materials we collect are recyclable. They include dry materials from construction, renovation or demolition, non-fermented residue and non-hazardous waste:

Wood, paper, cardboard
Plastic
Brick, cement, stone, concrete, asphalt
Ferrous and non-ferrous metals
Drywall, roofing shingles and related materials

At Multi-Recyclage, we make concerted efforts to minimise the use of landfills by improving our techniques for sorting dry materials. We also invest in upgrading to the latest technologies. Our global positioning satellite system allows us to control the transit of our trucks in real time. This means fewer delays for dumpster deliveries and pickups.

We sort the material at each of our depots, which allows us to maximize recovery, recycling and added value of the materials we receive. We hand-sort these dry materials at our Montreal and Laurentian depots. Anything recyclable and value-added is then transported to our main sorting centre located at 140 Saulnier Street in Laval.
